So sorry to hear of Archie's set back.

Positive and healing thoughts for Archie and you as a family.

Hope the vet can get to the bottom of the problem very quickly.

Been offline for a while as internet playing up in my area.  Anyway Archie has inflamatory bowel disease.  we are waiting for the next 'down' so that the vet can bring him in and do some tests she wants to do, but she predicts there will be another one.  Hmmmmm at least I guess we are getting some answers, allbeit slowly.  Thamks everyone for your kind words

Poor Archie, that is a shame.  Agree with you though, it is good that you are getting some answers and that the vet now has a plan as to what to do next.  Thinking of you.

I too, hope that they know what the problem is and that they can make Archie feel and be 100% healthy.

Hope you are coping well too.  It's not nice having your loved one ill.

I'm really sorry that Archie is still poorly, but it's encouraging that you have a diagnosis. Hopefully once the rest of the tests have been done the vet can help further with medication and diet to keep the condition well controlled so that Archie can be well again.

Sending you positive thoughts and hugs :luv:  :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:

Thanks everyone.  Today Archie is well and has been for a few day, but the vet is expecting another down because he is not on medication at the moment, but I am feeling positive.  I have insurance so don't need to worry financially and know that as soon as there is blood, vomit or anything else he is straight to the vets for the specific tests she wants to do.  I know this is really awful but I kind of want that to happen soon so we can get to bottom of it quicker.  She also wants to try and get a bit more weight on him and suggests 12kG would be perfect.  I only hope I can cope with him heavier, I'm not the biggest person in the world and already find him quite strong.  But I do agree with her he is a little too skinny even though he eats for England, but A little extra weight would help seeing as when he goes down his weight suffers.

I'm so pleased a diagnosis is being proffered. Let's hope that is quickly dealt with. I've been so worried about Archie.

I know how worrying it is after Tali having diawotsits for a week. Poor Archie has had it for ages.

Hopefully Archie can be sorted out and you can find a food that agrees with him and his 'condition' so you do not have to resort to long term medication.

Healing thoughts on the way.
