When I took Tali to the out of hours vet on Friday, it was £87 just to walk through the door, but hearing what Sharon pays, that's cheap. They were a bit of a way, but they were brilliant with Tali.

It broke my heart reading a practice would leave an anaethetised dog on a cold floor then give a double shot to bring it round.

The vets I went to were so nice, Tali was put in a warm kennel for the going to sleep and waking up process and he was treated with dignity. I was concerned before going having never been there before, but they are a big place covering large, small and exotic animals, have their own hydropools, rehab centres and specialists on site.

I know I slate vets sometimes, but there are good ones and bad ones and no-one deserves a bad one.
