Ah he's a lucky boy to have
you in his corner  let's hope
his meds make him feel a wee bit better.

It's good he is obviously feeling a bit better.  However I understand your frustration when you didn't get to see the person you wanted to.  I think you are wise to wait and see how things go today and then reassess it.  :bigarmhug:

So pleased that he is better, it could just have been a tummy upset.

Thankfully he appears to be feeling better, hopefully his stiffness disappears quickly for him.
My beautiful little boy Charlie :)

He is a little brighter I think, although still a very unhappy boy. I found out that the vet I wanted to see is away til the 7th of September so I'm a little stuck on that front.

I'm going to take him to the vet down the road tomorrow rather than back to varsity. He is much more open minded and has seen Coop before. I think he will be more open to the prospect of an auto immune problem which is what I am certain this is, with the possibility of a tummy bug on top.

I just want my smiling, waggy, happy boy back :(

That's a good idea, you know your boy best, so try the vet nearby, it will do no harm.  :bigarmhug:

I don't think it can hurt, but I feel a bit like a "vet hopper" :) I think someone open minded and practical might be more useful to Coop at this point.

Been to the other vet and he agrees that Coops problem is most likely the IMPA making a reappearance. I made a decision last night to put Coop back on pred rather than go down the non steroidal anti inflammatory route, which I know doesn't work for him through past experience. There is a big improvement and although he isn't 100% he is 100% better than he was! I was concerned I had done the wrong thing but the vet today believes I made the right choice for Coop and that this is without doubt an auto immune problem, so we are back on a course of pred to bring it under control again. He's a really nice guy and knows Coop's whole history from when this all started last year so I really trust his judgement.

Coop also has an upset tummy so its chicken and rice for a while for him.

Please keep your fingers crossed he continues to improve and that his tum settles down.

Ah that sounds like a plan
Getting some continuity with the Vet
is good too so's you aren't having to
continually repeat his history.
Let's hope the steroids do the trick,
along with some yummy chicken and
rice and your tender loving care make
Coop :luv:feel much better

I feel a lot better about him now, thanks:) He's getting up so much easier and he's moving a lot better too. He has just demanded his chicken and rice very noisily so I think we are now on the mend :) :)
