I'm not sure anyone will still remember me on here. I was looking through my old posts, it seems like a life time ago. Helen, Sky Sue, Cobweb etc. I am sorry to say that my little black cocker (Uliss) was put to sleep a few days ago.
She was such a well travelled little girl. Flying on planes, trains, euro tunnel. She came from Limoges and was verging on being bilingual when her selective hearing didn't get the better of her!
I loved her to bits and have posted some photos of her including a little water colour I have had commissioned to remember her by.

Thank you so much everyone. I miss Uliss so much, she was like my little shadow. 15 years of not being able to go to the bathroom by yourself!! Seems really odd to go to the loo on your own!
Thank you for all your kind words. It takes a cocker owner to know a cocker owner!! Even though I personally don't know you all it really means a lot to me to receive such kind words. Thank you. XXXX

So sorry! Such an individual little dog- but each one is and leaves a hole in us. It sounds as though you gave her a great life.

Sending you some of these :bigarmhug:
So sorry to read your sad news. As you rightly say only a cocker owner can appreciate how you are feeling at the moment. They are such special dogs. It sounds as though Uliss had a long and wonderful life with you and no dog can ask for more. Remember the happy times. Run free beautiful girl.

So really sorry with you. They break your hearts. It's a year since l lost mine too early, and for the first time ever this weekend I was able to have a cuddle with a strangers cocker without cracking up. Mind you , it was brown not black. I think time may heal.
