It was with a very heavy heart that I kissed my girl Erin goodnight for the very last time this morning. As posted previously she has had a tough few months since developing chronic pancreatitis in October then high blood pressure along with a few other problems. Over the past few weeks she was drinking to excess, lethargic and in obvious pain at times. These last few days her pain appeared to increase drastically to the point that she even snapped at my daughter and was growling when touched. She required help to get upstairs and was even cariried home from a walk.
We had to make the heartbreaking decision to end her suffering.
She was a loyal, loving and at times crazy girl who we all loved so much.
Sweet dreams little lady...you have left your paw prints on my heart forever x
