So sorry you have had to make that awful decision, but well done for putting her first and setting her free from pain and distress  :'(

Thank you all for your kind words...I know you all understand.
We have cried what feels like a river today...oh what I would give to have her snuggled up beside me tonight.
Our other girl Tilly is at a loss...she lying at front door and if anyone comes in she becomes all excited and looks for Erin. She is in and out back garden and barks and runs back in...this was her way of summoning Erin outside on a daily basis....she then looks about all confused...poor girl does not know what is going on just now.
