Well, after finally taking the plunge we are now officially the parents of a beautiful chocolate cocker puppy. Little Hugo came to live with us this week. He comes from working stock with both his parents being put to work on a daily basis. We met his mum who was very calm and very sociable for a working dog.
There's been a springer in our world previously so we are aware of what we have let ourselves in for with a spaniel in the house.
We are based in the Rossendale Valley in Lancashire. Once I've worked out how to post photos I'll bombard you with puppy photos

Hi and welcome to you and Hugo.
Look forward to an overdose of chocococker photos . It's good you have had a bit of spaniel awareness with the springer but you ain't seen nothing yet :005:

Humphrey's Mum has just had another litter, 7 chocolate cockers and I,SO want one but one little adolescent in the house is keeping me busy enough at the moment!
Looking forward to the pictures and updates! Have fun!

Hello and welcome to COL.
At least you know what you have let yourself in for, I had always had basset's and Clumbers before so my little pocket rocket was a shock! >:D Lol Some lovely people on here with great advice :D
Looking forward to swooning over the pictures. :D

Welcome to COL, a house without a spaniel is a boring place!
