Renal diet - raw???? help
« Reply #1 on: August 06, 2016, 12:59:58 PM »
Hi everyone, now that Ruby is thro her kidney biopsy, I still have some unanswered questions (albeit some for the vet) she is currently on a Renal diet, but as she hasnt actually been diagnosed with full blown kidney failure, does she actually need this? secondly I have read a lot on the subject of the 'vet diet' being actually not suitable and raw varients that might be both better for them and more palatable. Lastly having just purchased 36 tins of Royal Canin Renal, she has decided she hates it. So now I am stumped, I am sure that she will be little different with other 'cooked' diets, so I am hoping a raw solution can be found.....any comments on all or any of this would be appreciated....

Ruby just wont touch her tinned Renal diet....she doesnt do 'kibble' so now worrying what to feed her, would have like to remain RAW if poss but think  a cooked diet might be easier to do.....I dont think the natures menu frozen cubes may be unsuitable??? Confusion..evryone says different things and different diets.

I used Honey's for Bertie and Lara and they were very helpful. Might be worth a call?
