I have had Dixie for two weeks now. He is 12 weeks old working cocker. He is lovely and into everything. Had dogs before but never had a puppy or a cocker. Any tips very appreciated. Great to have found this forum and love reading all the chat and advice.
Thanks million
Paula :D

Hello Paula
Welcome to COL, like you I am a newbie on here and they are a brilliant lot on here. I have had a problem and got really good friendly advice, so don't be afraid to ask.
Some of the other posts are just funny or sad, but this site has a really good group on it who rally round and soon get you advice.

Hi Paula
Welcome to COL and to the wonderful world of cocker spaniels :clapping: We have two, Milly's a black female show strain and Chaz is a black male worker.
Have a good look around the forum to see the problems that we've encountered and overcome, the fun that's been had and the joy that we get from our cockers, but don't be afraid to ask questions yourself. All of us on here were new cocker owners at one time ;)
Bob.

Hi and welcome to COL.
I have to warn you of two very important problems.....
ONE - COL is totally addictive! Everyone on here is fantastic and you can find help on pretty much anything, not just your beloved (and very sweet!) cocker. :005:
TWO - Cockers are very addictive. Be very careful.... once you fall in love with the breed you may find yourself needing more than one. :005:
Good luck.

Hi and welcome. I have an orange roan, 4 years old called Jinley and she is a show type.
This is a great site for information and support and believe me you will, as I did, need everyone on here at some time or another.
The other golden rule for the site is pictures, pictures and more pictures! We never get tired of looking at puppies, grown ups or oldies!
