14month old suddenly chewing?!?

Hi i have a 14 month old female cocker and she has suddenly started to chew the door frames and radiator pipes in our kitchen at night waking us up. Usually at around 3am. She has never chewed anything other than her toys before? Is there anything i could do to discourage this?
