Title: Last nights storm
Post by: JeffD on July 19, 2017, 11:00:56 AM
Massive spectacular storm last night, Teal thought best line of defence was attack, she kept whining to go in the garden to bark at the lightning, she was one very wet dog

Early hours of this morning when we got it - not sure how spectacular it was cos apart from me getting up to answer call of nature, we all slept through it - not waking till about 7.30

We got some amazing sheet lightning between the clouds. I missed the rain, though.

We had clouds that we're arguing about who was cooking and washing up (thunder) and a strange man who kept shining his torch through the curtains (lightening).  This went from 9.30-12.30 and 2.30-4. Finally asleep by about 4.30 and up for work at 6. Humbug spent the day snoozing.  ph34r >:D

Nothing here yet.

Milly's usual reaction to storms is to ignore them until it gets a bit noisy, then she comes out from her usual place alongside the settee, heads for the kitchen door and asks to go out into the garden.

Any lightning flashes are responded to with a quick twirl or two and thunder is given a (Woo-woo) telling off before she heads back into the house, tail erect with a definite "Job done" attitude and gets a small treat for seeing off the noisy intruder.
