Ring Clip Saga - Part 2

A friend of mine bid for the Cocker Spaniel ring clip on ebay to see what would happen.  She won it, however the guy has emailled her giving her the opportunity to have her own photograph put into the ring clip to make it unique to her!!!! does this mean that if she does,  the picture of her cocker spaniel will appear next on ebay???

Not sure what to do - whether or not she should get the one with Finley in it and then complain that it is not unique, or provide her own photograph with a copyright on her photograph and see what happens next.

Would appreciate some advice?

She can send in the photo with instructions that it is copyrighted and is not to be used on their website  

Then, should it be used she has some recourse to sue him for infringement of those rights  


Ebay have a very good community page where you can get advice on this matter.  
Put a question on there about and see what they say

If he's saying it would be unique to her, it sounds like he will just customise that particularly keyring with the picture of your friends dog... but then again, that's he impression he gave you too isnt it! As Donna says, if she makes it clear the photograph isn't to be used for any other keyrings it should be okay, otherwise she can report him to Ebay.
