Is ist best to strip it or should it be trimmed. I would like to show her so bearing that in mind what is the best thing to do?

Also should I thin nout her feathers as they are very thick?

Thanks very much

I would not thin, only hand strip. Look through the other threads there are loads on handstripping  ;)

Thanks Gilly,

Ok I have started on her head and it is starting to look better. Do I just keep going until it is smooth? :)

Be carefull not to take too much hair out of the same area as bold patches are easy to make on the head.

You asked if you should trim the feathers, where abouts are you talking about?

I woulden't trim the feathering as it shoulden't be done, coats in Cocker's vary so just leave it the way it is whilst she is still a pup, it can be sorted out once she is older. ;)

Hope this helps.
