I am so very sorry for your loss. It is so painful, and I hope Harry copes ok. Like you, it will take time for him to adjust. Ben was such a character, and one day you will smile before the tears when you think of him. Sending you  :bigarmhug:

I'm so sorry to read this. I know how much loved Ben was, it's shone through from your posts about him on COL over the years, so I understand how difficult a time this must be for you and your husband and Harry. Please take care of each other at this painful time  :bigarmhug:

Run free Ben :luv:

Heartbreaking.       But 14 years!!!!     Lucky you! And such a lucky , perfect Ben.   You have done saved him any more distress,  the hardest decision ever.    We all know what you are going through.

Thank you to everyone for the lovely messages it really has helped, I know sadly so many of you have been through this and understand just how awful it feels.
It's just so strange not having him here, so much of our life was structured around his needs these last few months it's hard finding a new routine and Harry is completely lost and very quiet.

Thank you again  :luv: your support means so much

So sorry for your loss,  :'(  I hope that you get a lot of comfort from Harry and it isnt too long for new routines to be established so that you can concentrate on all the good memories you have of 14 years with Ben

I'm so so sorry, I really don't know what else to say other than to echo everyone else's words.

You gave Ben the most wonderful life and letting him go to sleep was the final act of kindness.

You will never forget him, he will be in your heart forever and I hope that one day, his memory will bring a smile and not a tear.

Take care xxxx
