did you call many tears or rosemary in somerset?i think nellie is with rosemary and you would have to call her. her details are on the many tears website.

I have emailed Rosemary a few times, (she has read the emails, I can check this because she's on AOL like me)  I've also tried phoning her but I just get the answering machine or "unavailable".  I tried phoning Many Tears but they said that they knew Rosemary had been inundated with enquiries about Nelly.  They gave me one of Rosemary's phone numbers (which I already had) & I tried her again but to no avail.  

I almost wish she would email & tell me I can't have her just to bring the waiting to an end

Is this the same  Nelly that was at many tears a few months back? We enquired about her and arranged to visit her at many tears. Sylvia agreed we could have her but we had to back out last minute. My dad looks after billy occassionaly if we have to go away on holiday or have to go away with work,  he said he wasn't prepared /able to look after two dogs. This would have caused us problems so I had to back out. I was gutted , but i knew I couldn't take her on until we were absolutely certain we had an alternative carer in place, often at very short notice.

Sylvia was great about it, I sent her the donation fee anyway for wasting her time  :: and a big parcel for Nelly full of treats, but the following week she disapeared fom the web site and there way no mention of her being re homed at the time   .

Finally got a reply  -   Nelly's being homechecked for someone else  

I hope everything works out for her & that she's very happy in her new home.  If it's anyone on CoL & you haven't wanted to post that you've applied for her, please don't feel bad that I'm disappointed, I would love to see photos of how she settles in & read stories about her.  She looks such a very special little girl.  I would have loved to have been her Mummy, but it wasn't meant to be

Aww, what a shame that she won't be coming to the Midlands   .  Still it's very good news that she is likely to have a new loving home soon   .
