I've used just plain old rubbing alcohol for years, it does a great job. My dogs haven't gotten any ear infections at all! (touch wood) Most of the commercial ear cleaners are a large percentage of alcohol anyway.

I use Cleanaural but have used Epi-otic in the past.  Epi-otic is especially good if your dog goes in the water a lot

A couple of weeks ago my vet told me to save my money and use olive oil.  I haven't tried it yet.  Anyone got any opinions/experience?

I use Malacetic Otic 1 or 2 times a week and it smells lovely and once in a while when Saffie is shaking her head alot I use TrizEDTA Plus which has so far stopped any further infections since summer of last year.

I use a mix of  1/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 water to wipe clean (solution best tepid)  - when dry a pinch of good old Thornits  :D - no problems so far -  :shades:

I use Logic as it is a lotion rather than a liquid and Oscar seems to tolerate it more! It also has a nice fresh smell! :D
