Tails?
« on: May 09, 2007, 07:20:01 PM »
Ok, this may seem like a daft question.. but what do you do with tails?

Baxter's is not a short dock, but it is docked.. and when the hair gets long he gets a furry 'catherine wheel' at the end!!  :005:

At the moment I am trimming it with thinning scissors and keeping it quite short so it looks neat... is this the right thing to do?

Totally personal preference if you are not showing.

I myself like the "waggy flaggy" so I dont trim my pets  :005:

I leave Clive's pretty much as it is - sounds like yours, a long dock which develops a gorgeous white fluffy star on it! Kind of makes up a tiny bit for not having so much tail  :'(

When it gets a bit silly looking, I thin it and trim it a little.

But then, my approach to grooming Clive is rather 'au naturel' or, naturally tossled as he would put it  :005:
