God luck Buddy and Annette, Bracken says if Buddy wants to have a chat about nasty owners, he is more than welcome...

He was such a star this morning as far as the starvation went!!!!

Barked the whole time at the vets though ph34r and will probably wake up barking.

He was given Pethidine to sedate him and squealed like a baby!! He's tripping away now after a bit of a cuddle on the waiting room floor.

The vat says they rarely need the buster collar for the lip fold op, he thinks it's cos it's so sore! But for the other end...oh yes.

He also likes then to have quite long lead walks after the first restful post-op day as he reckons it stops them getting too frustrated so that's good. No swimming though!!

Would you believe that as we were walking Buddy through I got a call from the boiler man (see my thread "phew it's hot") saying he was 1/2 hour away. So I am now stuck at home after all. I was going to go shopping. >:D

He's home and looking rather sorry for himself. He has a buster collar and is too wobbly to even start to get used to it, but he has jumped onto the sofa (grr) and is asleep now.

I will try to tempt him with some food later, I boiled up some chicken and rice for him and whizzed it up in the food processor. He has loads of stitches and it looks so sore.

Metacam daily for at least 4 days, then back to see the vet for a check up and then sedation for removal of sutures in 10 days!

I'll post a photo of the poorly boy later.
