Rosie had a good night last night no accidents  :luv: bless her. I continued with egg, chicken and rice and she has been abit brighter. But she went to the toilet tonight out on our walk and it is still a bit of a worry.
The vet said to go back if no better by friday,so I feel another visit on the cards  :-\ I shall be annoyed if he gives her an injection especially as I spoke about it on wednesday. (have been down this road with my retriever Bracken) :'( months of worry and a poorly dog.
I get so cross as they charge £21 to walk in the door  :-\ she is insured but still makes me angry  >:D

Michelle ......... I didn't get any liver cake so have no idea why she is poorly, will try the yogurt thanks  :luv:  I havn't changed anything and she is always with the others and they are fine

Just so worried when they have diawotsits as Bracken was so very poorly ( nearly died) when he was a pup (11 years ago)
Jo  :D

Have you actually starved her for 24 hours which is usually the best thing to do in these cases then give chicken and rice etc.

Yes we did cut out food first then introduced small amounts of chicken and rice.  :-\
She had another bad night last night up 3 times with her,  Came in from work at 1.30 and she has passed alittle blood  :'(  rang the vet and they saw us straight  away  :luv: she is now on antibiotics for 5 days.
Bless her  :luv: she is still bright and wagging her little tail

Rosie has been really poorly during the night  :'( she is passing alot of blood.

Just off to the vet again  :-\ bless her is so cuddly and quiet this morning. She is losing weight and she is so tiny only 8kg, she can't  stand this to long.  :'(
I'm starting to get very worried now :'(   Just brings back dreadful memories 11 years back when I nearly lost Bracken through a very poorly tummy.

Sorry to hear about Rosie :'(  Just a thought but chicken gave Kali the runs.  I changed it to boiled fish and she was much better.  I seem to recall that quite a few dogs on here can't tolerate chicken

Thanks you all for your kind wishes  :luv:
We have just come back from vets again with more Pro-Kolin and she has to be starved again  :'( for another 24 hours.  She has only been on a couple of spoons of chick and rice, she must be starving. (When I start food again may give scrammbled egg instead of chicken)
Her temperature is fine, but we have to encourage her to drink more otherwise she has to go into the vets so they can put a drip up  :'(
I feel so sorry for her she is so small  :luv:
A very worried mum

Hope Rosie is well soon - it tugs at you to see them so poorly doesn't it.

When I do the scrambled egg, I just beat the egg - no milk - in a mirowave proof dish, then zap it for 45 secs, so no dairy products used except the egg (is that dairy??)  ;) and no 'orrible eggy saucepan either :005:
