At what age do the boys stop....

producing off spring.

I was looking at my Rosie's pedigree and her dad was born in 1993, Rosie is one.

that does seem quite old to be using him at stud. Most dogs retire, I believe at around 7 or 8 depending on the health etc etc of the dog. It would make him 14 when he sired that litter  :-\ seems a bit old to me but someone may know more than me......

Stud dogs don't really retire in the way bitches do - I've certainly known of well-known dogs who continue siring pups well into their senior years although as time goes on, their fertility is not as great as they once were so they can be a bit hit & miss ;)
