Homoeopathic Prevention For Dog

With regard to the homoeopathic route instead of injections.  A friend of mine who lost her cocker through the injection now uses Nosodes for her other dogs they are from a company call ainsworth (www.ainsworth.com) if you look on there web site under online magazine (item 7) they have an article about alternatives to the conventional vaccinations for dogs and cats.

I think this will probably be the best route for Finley - I could not bear another scare in a years time.  I am going to call the company tomorrow to get all the info on Nosodes.

Do any of the Forum member use these?

Wendy

Wendy

I'm very interested in this too, did your friend have any problems finding either kennels or an insurance policy for her homeopathically vacinnated dog?

There's a dog health group on yahoo that's all about alternative therapy which might be worth joining:

K9 Health
Friends of Hailey Park
Four Paws Animal Rescue (South Wales)

Rachel & little Molo   I will try and find out the answer to this.  The two people I know who use Nosdoes do not put them in kennels.  Is there an issue on using homoeopathic and not being able to get insurance?   Wendy

I believe some insurance companies won't offer cover for diseases prevented by conventional vaccinations if a dog has not been vaccinated.

I  asked several companies their policy on this a few years ago, and their answer was that if the dog is not vaccinated, the policy is breeched and so they will not pay out for ANYTHING  :o

I am hoping that in the intervening years, things have changed, but I can't imagine anything worse than finding out you have breeched the terms of your insurance policy when youare tryin to do the best for your dog  :(

I haven't been brave enough to ask this time, as we haven't bought yet, and I don't want to get blacklisted by any companies before I start!
