If someone pays the costs for transport, Irish dogs can often be rehomed in Britain

fortunatly cockers are cute enough to get a second look its the labs that have it hard

OK I know I'm very biased but I think labs are just as cute as cockers....  What a shame not everyone thinks so

yup they are but cockers look more puppy like even when there older and are quite bouncy  and the amount of labs coming in   means in those dark pounds they get lost in the background the golden ones often get rehomed from the pounds though  . the collies have it just as bad . the irish sites often do transport for about £50-60 depending on where you live they rely on k999 which are volunteers they only ask for exspenses

So true. I do a lot of fundraising for the Dogs Trust and they always say the lighter coloured dogs always get rehomed before the black ones.    Personally I love black dogs (Sasha and Oscar being just two!!!   ) but I think people should choose rescue dogs on their personality and suitability not purely on colour.

Ive asked just waiting for a reply will let you know when i get a email hopefuly they have a home to go to there so cute    I hate the thought of dogs out in the cold kennels in winter

They are both so gorgeous.  I hope they are in a lovely cosy new forever home for Christmas.
