My mum used to hoover one of our dogs more than 50 years ago and she didn't need a special tool, none of the others would tolerate it though  :005:

I actually bought something similar from PAH years ago and which said it would fit a dyson, but I could never get it to fit.  May well have a look at it as none of the dogs are bothered by the vacuum as I have occassionaly had the vacuum going when I've been brushing off dried mud.  Also saw something similar on one of the shopping channels which was like a furminator but attached to a vacuum.

My black Cocker from many years ago, gentle Sam, loved vacuum cleaners. We had a special vacuum game on the stairs where he'd be one step above me all the time and would judge when he had to move up to the nearest second. He also let me groom him him with one of the attachments and really enjoyed it :luv:. I'm not sure it achieved much because he was groomed regularly anyway but as soon as he saw me put the soft brush attachment on the vacuum nozzle he'd come and sit in front of me and go all dreamy eyed while I vacuumed him :luv:

Same here.  ;) Our old dog used to love it, but not sure any of our present pooches would feel the same.  :shades: :005:

My friend Vacs her horses and suggested I vac my dogs too... Normy would tollerate it but Dave haaaaaaates the hover so would be a waste of time here (I suspect not enough general hover usage socialisation when he was a pup  ph34r:005:)

No way would Odie be impressed, he runs a mile when I get the vacuum out, even though he's been used to it since a small pup.  TBH he doesn't really shed too much, my kids and husband make more mess than he does :005:
Both taken away from us far too soon. x  RIP Angels Odie & Archie, causing mayhem at the Rainbow, no doubt!

I've only just got Ebony to stay in the same room as my Dyson (even when it wasn't switched on!) so I think grooming her would be a step too far  ::) Rosie would be ok though.
