When to reduce?

Hey there I was just after some opinions as to when people cut their puppy's meals down? Rocco is currently on 4 small meals, but sometimes doesn't eat all of them. He's now 12 weeks old and I just wondered when is beat to cut down to theree and then two?

With mine, I've cut them down to 3 meals at 3 months and down to 2 at 6 months.

I still feed Paula 3 times a day and she is 27 months old today. What is the advantage of feeding only twice a day?

I don't actually know  :lol2:  All the dogs we had when I was growing up were fed twice a day and I guess that has just stuck with me with my own dogs  :-\  Dallas would think it was christmas every day if he got fed 3 times a day  :005:

My uncles collie was fed once a day - his food would be put down in the morning and he would just graze at it throughout the day. None of mine would be so self-disciplined!

The muddies get fed twice a day - but with a bonio as well, when I have my lunch.

Robbie is 14 weeks and I have cut his feeds down to 3 times a day at 70g. He used to be on 45g x 4 meals. I cut it down probably a couple of weeks ago as 4 feeds seemed too hard to fit in and he wasnt always in the mood for that 4th feed.
