Smelly ears.....

Hi,

Not sure if this should go in the "health" thread or not but just looking for a bit of advice.

Pepper is almost 12 weeks, have noticed that the inside of her ears smell what only can be described as a bit "cheesy". I've checked them, they are nice and clean with no obvious irritations or problems...... is this a normal thing for cockers?. If so, do people clean them?

If there are no obvious problems and they are clean and she isn't scratching them. I would leave well alone. If you are really worried you could just pop her along to the vets.

This maybe a silly Q. Is the smell definitely coming from inside the ear ? As Charlies' ears often smell, but it is just food or something he has been dragging them in, as cockers do!!
