Food & Norty Behaviour
« on: September 27, 2011, 06:31:43 AM »
Dexter came to us on Royal Canin, which we continued him on. Charlie is on JWB so we thought we'd try and switch Dexter to the puppy version.  We noticed that his behaviour improved immensely on JWB but his poos went really loose. I switched him back to Royal Canin, the poo improved almost immediately but his behaviour changed back immediately too - he eats his meal and becomes so hyper and bitey it's like having a possessed shark in the house

Not sure whether to try switching again  >:(

Obviously you changed him over gradually, so maybe you are giving him a wee bit too much? that's what happenend with phoebe and mia with the same results as little Dexter  :luv: :luv: x x x

We did, I might try again in a few days but more gradually, I'm amazed at the difference in his behaviour  :o

I changed Robbie (Now 8 months) over to JWB and for about 2 weeks his poos were runny or soft - it soon improved.  It takes them awhile to adjust.  Even now Robbie doesnt have consistently solid poos. Sometime he does sometimes he doesnt.  I think some of it with him is excitement levels. I am happy with the food though. He does prefer the Turkey and Rice though by miles.
