Vomiting yellow bile
« on: January 16, 2012, 02:50:44 PM »
Hi folks

This afternoon Sally vomited up a small quantity yellow bile. She is absolutely fine in herself, and doesn't appear under the weather.

The reason I am posting, is that this has happened three times in the last two-three months - and on each occasion she has been sick (bile-only) in the afternoon, between midday and two-ish.

She has Barking Heads for breakfast (at 6am) and again for dinner (at 6pm).

Do you think I should be introducing a late morning snack as well, so her tummy doesn't get so empty? Or should I be talking to the vet?

I'd try her with a snack. My lot get a Bonio or biscuits at mid day and around 2ish.

I'd try her with a biscuit at lunchtime, or split her meals into 3 instead of 2. My boys are still on 3 meals a day as they have such alot of food to get through a day to maintain their weight. They are both WCS, Indy is 18months old and Murph nearly 3 years old.
