Busters doing really well since coming home. He is being his normal greedy self and barking a lot but does get tired quite quickly. We are stopping him from coming up the stairs so much as he struggles to come up & he can't jump on the bed which shows he is quite weak as he never usually has a problem. I took Ollie out for his walk today & Buster was barking to come too but he can't yet as that would probably kill him. Might take him round the block tomorrow, then least its a change of scenery. We now have to feed him low calorie dog food and 3 meals a day so he is happy. Does anyone know if there are any low fat dog treats on the market. I look at him & can't believe he is home with us, he's getting a lot of fuss & attention but he deserves it.

My cousin's KCS had a similar illness to Buster and is also on low fat food with no extras .  He is allowed occasional unflavoured raw hide chews. Probably best to check with your vet if these would be okay for Buster too.

Would he be allowed to have the Antos low fat chicken strips or milky biscuits?
