« on: August 30, 2006, 12:04:58 PM »
My dogs when having a drink, often at the end will fill their mouths and then wander through to another room where they will spit it all out.  >:D  they dont do it all the time.  >:(  Liath doesnt do it shes too posh!  ) but rolos a brat for it. >:(  he climbed up on my daughters irish boyfriend and spat water all over his cleantrousers. :005:   he wasnt too happy!! pepper more dribbles it all around the place until her mouth is empty again. my other dogs didnt do this and none of my relations dogs do it.
they sometimes do it with food take a bit out of bowl and go and eat it across the room but its a bit much with water!

Yup Saffie is a b***** for this. She takes a mouthful and walks off with it dribbling out of her mouth and all round the house and then shakes her head and covers everything with the little bits that are soaking her chin and ears - but she is a lady honest!

yep Louie is a dribbler and a shaker... we have a straight path from the front door through the kitchen to the back garden and it always has a trail of dribbles from the bowl  :005: :005: After having a drink he also likes to come over and give you kisses which are more like little washes >:D >:D

Indy does it too.

We always have 2 ear trails along the tiles and extra special dribbles when she wants attention.

We have an RAC drinks bottle and bowl, the bowl is the same length as the bottle and it closes up so the bottle fits inside.

If you can imagine a sports cap bottle cut in half longways, you get the picture, Indy will actualy manouver herself so her ears get into the water rather than drinking from the narrow end, just to she can bless us with ear water.  :luv:  :luv:  :luv:

Yep, Bella does the dribbling as she walks away, there are always drip trails from the bowl. Her other fave thing is blowing bubbles in the water - at agility they have a bucket to drink out of and if she's hot, Bella will stick her schnozzle in right up to her eyes, ears floating on the surface and just blow bubbles to her heart's content, then eventually resurfaces with her face and ears completely soaking...

Perhaps you're missing her calling.  Perhaps it's not agility but as a performer of special tricks which is her forte

The cocker dribbles water around the bowl, all over the kitchen floor and anywhere else she feels like dribbling.

The hairy mongrel puppy actually drinks very neatly, but insists on drying her extensive "beard" on the nearest victim with the smartest clothes.
