She is a lot brighter today - has eaten her breakfast and had a wee play with Aspen. The swelling on her muzzle has gone right down too. She is as good as gold getting her war wounds cleaned so hopefully it will soon be a distant memory for her.

Oh dear, poor Aspen :'(

Glad she's feeling a better today, it's so awful seeing them being attacked when they are such defenceless little things with no malice in them at all :'(  It happened to Lottie once and she just looked at me as if to say 'Why Mum?  I didn't do anything'

I've just read this, poor Jersey, I really hope she fully recovers from this and that it has no lasting effect on her....will have to find some nice, friendly dogs for her to play and interact with so she forgets this ever happened  :D

I'm so sorry to read about poor Jersey,Gill.

I do hope she feels a little brighter today & that her unpleasant experience hasn't destroyed her confidence with other dogs.

Domino was bitten on his nose when he was quite a young dog & I remember his muzzle swelled up a lot. ;)

Sorry Gill, I've only just seen this.

Poor Jersey.  :'( It must have been some attack, judging by her wounds.  :'(

Lots of extra tlc from her brothers and cuddles from mum should see her feeling much better.

Need to find lots of friendly dogs now to mix her with as soon as you can, though not always that easy particularly over christmas.
Sam is mum to - Sapphi (working black Lab 5 1/2 yrs), Max (Golden Retriever 4 yrs) Morgan (American Cocker 2 1/2yrs) and mum in spirit to Barney (English Cocker 3 1/2 yrs now living in Scotland)
