Hi, what do you do at these meetings as I've never been before but it sounds interesting.
Also for all the Wiganers on line I live in Shevington, are any of you near me as I know there are quite a few people with Cockers near me?

Hi Karen,

I sent you a PM some time ago - I live in Standish.  I've only been to one meet before (Formby) and basically it's just a get together and a 'walkies' for the wee ones  :D   It's nice to be able to put a face to the names if you know what I mean  :wink:

Michelle, I think fund raising for Fran's son is an excellent idea.  I know this sounds obvious, but how about a sponsored dog walk ? :roll:  Sponsored for the walk though rather than per mile  :wink:  :wink:

Someone may have sponser forms but if not I could easily 'knock some up' on the computer and send them on attachment to everyone........

What does everyone else think?

I was thinking, slightly unrelated to the dog walk, but if everyone in the wigan area :wink:  wants to help organise a table for a car boot sale, proceeds going to Frans son, then can you pm me :D   I did one recently I didn't have that much stuff but still made a good profit :D  If interested, let me know and we can get cracking on organising it :D  We could have a really nice day, make a picnic lunch and sunbathe while we chat, as we are raising some dosh 8)

Also I will have a word with MIL about doing a portrait maybe a COL raffle??  Would there be any interest?

How about sponsering per dog that attends the meet, maybe we could advertise in our local areas and not only raise money for Frans son but gain more cocker friends and spread the word about COL  to all those who are missing out  :wink:

A picture raffle sound like a great idea, and the boot sale, though with all my activity on ebay recently I won't have much to sell :roll:  

I was thinking along the lines of a sponsored walk on the day as well, and maybe we could have a mini raffle, if people want to donate a bottle of wine or two :D

I will ask my mother in law, I am sure she will be delighted to help :

Does anyone in this area, have any unwanted items they could donate to the car boot?  i.e books, videos, ornaments, cuddlies, toys etc etc etc and is anyone any good at facepainting, that normally goes down well with the kids :wink:

Okay so the dates of choice are either 18th or 25th, and we are going to do a couple of raffles and a donation for joining the walk :D  Can people check which date they are available and we will go with the most popular.
