Title: Can you recommend a Barf Book???
Post by: millrace on December 03, 2008, 09:55:32 AM
Hi

We have been feeding tia Barf for a few months and she is doing fine although she now seems to be getting a bit fed up for some reason.  We have been buying the bags of freeflow mince, beef and chicken and mixing it with veg etc as well as fish and bones.  I have made enquiries with our local library regards books but unfortunatley they don't have any.  Which book would you fellow COL'ers recommend to buy so I can make sure tia is getting the best.
Many thanks
Sharon....

I've got The BARF diet, Grow your pups with bones and Give your dog a bone.

If you've got a young dog or are thinking of breeding then I'd say  Grow your pups with bones if you just want the basics I'd say The BARF diet and if you want a bit more detail than the basics I'd say Give the dog a bone. If you get all 3 you'd just be doubling up.

There are also yahoo sites with plenty of info like britbarf where you pick up ideas from more experienced people.
