He is well meaning but hasn’t quite got a grasp of commands yet so this will need a bit of work, tends to lie down and look cute when asked to do something . Recall is not good so needs work in order to let him off the lead.
He absolutely loves his walks – does a special dance when the lead comes out and is a dog on a mission when out – nose to the ground! So he can pull quite hard on his lead, is much easier on a long lead in open space. If he spots a bird he’s off!
Very chilled out in the house otherwise, not a barker (only the occasional one when someone is at the door), and will be happy as long as he is near you.
Not tested with cats but has lived with another dog previously although they said he can be a bit grumpy (think it will depend on the other dog). He can lunge when confined (e.g. under a table or similar) and other dogs come up in his face, but otherwise fine.
He is very sociable and a very handsome boy – he’s been very popular at the pub and around town with his foster family!
He will need a home where there is someone in most of the day, as he can suffer with separation anxiety and doesn’t like being shut in on his own. Stanley came to us due to biting a child and needs to be rehomed to a home with no children and no visiting children. He needs an experienced home. In foster in London N1 Stanley is neutered, vaccinated ,chipped, wormed and flead. Adoption is subject to meet and greet, homecheck and adoption fee of £200. Applications via forms here please.
