I put chicken or kibble mixed with a little peanut butter or Primula, occasionally jamming in a larger gravy bone so he has to work harder to get at it  :lol2:  I also occasionally feed him via his Kong or treat ball as my Monty is a gobbler and his meals are usually gone in 10 seconds  ph34r
Both taken away from us far too soon. x  RIP Angels Odie & Archie, causing mayhem at the Rainbow, no doubt!

I use any leftover beef, lamb, chicken scraps cut up about 8mm cubes. I mix with kibble.

Cheese works the same way.

I don't use a lot. More Kibble than treat. Perhaps two-to-one.

Personally I don't do "sticky" stuff like peanut butter because it's a pain to clean up after.

They get really nifty at emptying these after a while.

No suggestions here I'm afraid, (Archie was a total fusspot and his kong remained abandoned and unused regardless what I put in it  >:() but just a reminder to be careful when using peanut butter. The trend for reducing sugar has meant some brands are using xylitol, which is poisonous to dogs, as a sweetener. Check the label carefully.

We don't have peanut butter in the house so meat will have to do, it's to try and help with crate training for the odd occasion I have to pop out

Yes, I checked a few weeks ago when it was highlighted about that ingredient in peanut butter.

I use Fish4dogs salmon mousse and then freeze it. Take it out freezer half an hour before needing it.  Keeps them busy for ages! :D

Look up a recipe for Liver-cake. This is easy to make and easy to use and SAFE.

I like to keep away from food that I don't for sure know what it is.

Flaked smoked-salmon is also very much appreciated.

I am a fan of the Kong because they don't bolt the food so quickly.

A tip for cleaning kong after use - I use a child's toothbrush, seems to do the trick  :D

As I am very lazy we put a 'markies' marrowbone dog biscuit in there - the shape fits in a kong perfectly! :lol2:
