Thanks for all the good wishes for my boy  :luv: His foot looks worse today so I'm going to see if they can do anything while he is under rather than just take a sample.  He can't understand why he hasn't had any breakfast  bless him! I am dreading leaving him but I know it's for the best - I had a rabbit die under anesthetic so am a bit jittery to say the least! I will try and post later to update - but it helps to know people are thinking of him xxx

Rabbits are much more delicate under anaesthetic than dogs, though I know that won't stop your natural worry.

Arrrgh- just heard from the vets - I opted to have pre op bloods done and they have came back lypemic(?) which I think means even though I starved him from 7 last night there is still food affecting the blood result ? So I could have bought him home and starved him 18 hours and then had the bloods done again or go ahead with the op which the vet was happy to do - so I chose to go ahead today as starving him then taking him back would have stressed him out even more - hope I made the right choice!!
