I rang the vets and took her in and Poppy is now going to stay over night to be on fluids and to have a blood test. Vet said she is really dehydrated and not a very well little girl at all. Hopefully tho we will be able to bring her home tomorrow afternoon -I really hope so. The house feels really funny without her even tho she didn't make her presence felt very much!
OH who never really wanted a dog is being very supportive he's just hoping insurance will pay out for a lot of the treatment - he has palpitations at the costs! Children, especially daughter, are wandering round like lost little souls.
Thank you so much for the support it's very much appreciated. I just want my house to be chewed to pieces by a naughty puppy!

Glad to hear shes being looked after at the Vets - You know shes in the best place.

Have a word with the breeder and keep them updated. In the mean time, call the Insurance company, and establish what you are covered for, to avoid any suprises, or additional worry later.

Fingers crossed, keep us updated.

Poor Poppy but hopefully once she's rehydrated she'll bounce back.  You'll be surprised how quickly they pick up and she'll be home with you before you know it.

Thinking of you xx

So sorry to hear about poor poppy, this must be a really difficult time for you and your family but just remember that she is in the best possible care now and don't blame yourself, like everyone else says this could happen with any pup.

I'm a real novice when it comes to puppys so no advice but my thoughts and best wishes are with you.
