Sorry I've missed this post so far, I do hope she recovers quickly with the treatment.
I'll be thinking of her tonight. ;)

So sorry to hear about all the worry you have with your new pup, we had the same with Kalli, she was kept in on a drip of fluids and antibiotics, :'( the vet rang us at 10pm and told us she had eaten a very small amount of food , then she rang in the morning to tell us that she had chewed all her lines out in the night, scoffed all her breakie and was sat up as bright as a button. Kalli has thrived since and we are now enjoying our baby instead of worrying 24/7. You will be doing the same in no time at all. Best wishes.

So pleased you took her back to the vet. She's in the best possible hands now. Hope there's good news tomorrow. Been thinking about you all day.

Keeping everything crossed for you all  :luv:

Thank you so much for all your kindness. Even my OH was moved when I showed them to him. My little girl has just got carried away and filled in her diary entry for tomorrow in which: "I woke up and I was so ecsited(sic) because Poppy was coming home." Let's hope she's clairvoyant!
Thank you again and as I keep telling myself 'no news is good news'.

I just read this thread so a bit late with my post!  Poppy's in the best possible hands now and I'm sure it won't be long before she's home and trashing your house.  Will be checking this thread again later for any more news.  Everything's crossed for you and Poppy!

Also just read this post - fingers crossed, and Ben has his paws crossed for Poppy.  I had no trouble with Ben (other than eating the house and ruling the house from day one) - but I had a kitten from a pet shop once that was really poorly (bought by my OH) and the vet suggested that I took him back before I got attached????  He was attached from the first minute - he got over his bad start and I'm sure Poppy will.  I hope you get to the naughty puppy stage real soon ;)

Just caught up with this, I'm also hoping that Poppy will very soon be feeling better and back home before you know it :bigarmhug:
