Have you heard any more fromm the breeder? It does seem unlikely that none of the other pups have had any illness at all doesn't it?

If it was worming or worm related then it could just be this pup. Some pups do have awful reactions to wormers (can really affect the lining of the stomach quite considerably in some cases). At this age they can pick up a lot especially if they haven't had a good start.

Glad she's doing well now, no doubt she'll get a lot stronger now she's home.

Poppy is fine today thank you. Not interested in playing  but wants lots of food, cuddles and to follow us about. She's certainly not bouncy but she's getting perky!

So relieved that Poppy's continuing to improve - she's absolutely gorgeous and obviously and has a very strong spirit

Good luck with the rest of her recovery.

Thanks so much all of you -did I say she was perky??!! Well scrap that. Total lethargy except when she's about to be fed. I know that she's doing really well considering how she was last week but some stupid part of me keeps expecting every day that she'll have turned into' Poppy the canine bouncer' overnight!! Impatient? Moi?

So long as she's so interested in food, she'll be healing. It must be really hard for you to wait so long for a recovery, but I guess with such a young pup and such a nasty illness, it will have taken a lot out of her.

Before you know it she'll be stronger, but keep your chin up and enjoy her being snuggly  :luv:

Well the little lamb is recouperating, try not to expect too much :) And the most healthy of pups spend a lot of time asleep - only waking for food and poo :)

She is a little fighter and on seeing her pictures I have to agree shes also a stunner :luv:

And two weeks of cuddles and fuss is no hardship when it comes to cockers :)

:D try not to worry dood, she's still a tiny baby and would be sleeping a lot anyway if she was fit. She's been through so much as well that she sounds to be doing great to me. If she's eating, drinking, sleeping and poohing then she's ok. :D Just wait , in a few weeks she'll be running around like anything!
Keep up the good work :luv:
