What a shock, Nic! When I took Brammie to the vet with the lump on her leg, the vet was pretty sure it was a tumour too, due to the shape of it. He was pretty worried because the lump was right over the joint in her leg and he wasn't optimistic about surgery.

Bramble's lump turned out to be a grass seed that had been there for 3 - 4 months and migrated up her leg.

Any chance of posting a picture of Alfiie's leg? It would be interesting to compare it to what Brammie's looked like.

Sending love and positive thought to Alfie and you. xx
With love from Julie, Bramble Poppy and Coco xxx

Oh no thats not good for the wee man. Hope it works out okay, as you say it could be a number of things with various different outcomes so try not to worry. He is very fit and healthy so I'm sure he would cope well if he had to have any treatment and he has you to dote on him too xxx

I'll try to get one but my compact camera isn't working just now, I'll wait until daylight tomorrow and try to manoeuvre the big camera. I really hope it turns out to be something relatively simple like Brammie's case. I'm refusing to dwell on it until next week, me moping isn't going to affect the outcome either way and will only confuse him.
