Kali is quite poorly

She was due to see the vet on Monday 24th but I decided to get her in on Friday instead as she seemed to be getting worse before my eyes.  The vet took a blood sample right away and although the first one for infections/anaemia came back fine, the second snap test came back positive for Pancreatitis.  I think only her knowledge (because she mentioned it as soon as I described Kali's vague symptoms) and the fact that I didn't want to wait, made a difference to the level of seriousness.  She doesn't need to be on a drip but she is quite poorly and in some amount of pain.  I have different drugs for her and Lord willing, they will head it off at the pass but she keeps jumping so I know she is getting spasms.  I sat with her last night because she was in too much pain to sleep.  It is awful to see her spinning round because she can't get comfy.  Please think good thoughts for her for a quick recovery and that this will be her one and only brush with this illness. :'(

Am thinking of you both and wishing a speedy recovery.  Its awfull when our furry friends are poorly.  Fingers crossed.  Lxx

Poor Kali, I hope she soon feels better.  I know pancreatitis in humans is very painful so I hope the medication helps her.  We have all fingers and paws crossed here that she get better soon.
