Pancreatitis
« on: March 25, 2008, 10:09:29 AM »
I have put this on another thread because it isn't really anything to do with Kali.  I am just information gathering for those whose dogs have had this.  I remember when my dog Kim had her one and only bout of Pancreatitis, she was very poorly and on a drip for days but bounced back and was on her normal food without any relapse.  Kali wasn't sick, didn't have diarrhoea, in fact the only clue I had was a vague feeling that something wasn't quite right :-\  I think her not wanting to play really was the only give away.  I can find info on sites that somebody kindly gave me but there doesn't seem to be much written on the type of Pancreatitis that Kali is experiencing, only the chronic type.  What type is most common and is there anyone else whose dog didn't require hospitalisation?
