dissolvable stitches
« on: December 09, 2009, 08:36:48 PM »
Little Harry came to us last week with a row of about 5 stiches under one eye.  We think he has had an operation for entropian, and as far as the breeder knew it was done early november.

My question is how long do stitches stay in for?  They don't look like coming out any time soon and because its so near his eye I don't want to fiddle with them incase I  hurt him

thank you  :luv:

Aww bless his heart.  I think I would have a word with your vet - I had dissolvable stitches once that just didn't get round to dissolving and had to have them removed by the practice nurse (at the GP - not the Vet's!!!  :005:)
Hope he is ok.
