I'm sure you're well aware of the side effects of Prednisilone, but I hope that you don't mind me mentioning that they made Oscar ravenously hungry while he was on them. I think Julie (LadyLola) found the same with Paisley. We ended up giving Oscar extra meals which is okay short term, but obviously has implications long term.  :-\

I know you'll make the best decisions for Tilly, we're sending hugs for you.

So sorry to hear Tilly is so ill, hope all goes well tomorrow and you get a manageable outcome. I can't imagine how worried you are at the moment, but it seems that there is COL magic and I hope all these good wishes work.
My Westie Holly was on prednislerone for about 4 years, it was the only thing that stopped her eating herself alive due to her dodgy skin. It did make her ravenous but it helped her live as normal a life as was possible.

Will be thinking of you all tomorrow Nic, you have been a fountain of knowledge whilst we were having health issues with Baja, I just wish I could return all the useful advice you have given me.

Best of luck tomorrow, you will have so many people thinking of Tilly the power of COL is a wonderful thing  :luv:

OMG Nic why didnt you say anything when you were up???  Am stunned that Miss Tills is so ill she seemed her usual self on our walk.  If there is anything at all I can do to help do not hesitate to call.  I have everything here crossed for Tills and you and hope that you get the best possible outcome at the vets tomorrow, you are both in my thoughts. xxxxxxxxx

Try to keep busy although I know this will be difficult as you will be so anxious.

Nicola I am so sad to hear about Tilly, you must be in a right state with worry for her. I have no advice at all sorry but just wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts and I am sending as much positive love as possible to you and Tilly right now. I'm so sorry to hear about Tilly  :'(    I really hope its not as severe as the vet thinks it is and can be treated successfully.    Will be thinking of you and Tilly and sending positive thoughts her way.   :luv:

I'm glad you've had the support of your friends on COL whilst going through this worrying period.   

Hoping tomorrow brings more positive news that your posting suggests - I really do hope it is more easily treatable.
