Finding a new groomer
« on: June 01, 2010, 08:02:50 PM »
Any advice on what to look out for/ask when finding a groomer?

Ollie does have a groomer but she has put her prices up recently and she always seems to just take that bit too much off. So there are a few other groomers local I'm going to call for a price but anything else I should ask before I make a decision

The only reason Ollie goes where he does is because she was recommended!

Thanks in advance

Shame your to far as I would have offered my services.  :shades: Is there anyone else that you know that could recommend another groomer as that really is the best way. I get the majority of my business that way.  ;)

Nope all the other cockers I see their owners groom them!!! I did make a start on Ollie myself last night (poor ollie  :005:) and I reckon I could manage it if I got the right kit - at the minute i only have 2 pairs of scissors, one normal, one thinners!!! But i need him cut nicely and failry short ofr our holiday's as he'll be swimming loads and don't want him a wet soggy doggy!!!
