Anybody done these graded training course and what did you think. Lilly is now getting to the age that we can think about doing them.

I have all the information and would love to do one, but unfortunately the ones in my area always seem to be at really inconvenient times for me ... so I am still waiting until perhaps one comes up that I can go to; if not, I'll have to go to one a bit further afield.

I couldn't make it to my local one with Alfie last year due to work commitments but that shouldn't be so much of a problem this time around  ::) :005:

I went with Badger (but it was some time ago) to the East Midlands club.
It was really good, there are separate classes for Spaniels, Badger was the first cocker that the instructors had had in their classes
(it was 1991) but he was quickly joined by a sister and brother.
He passed both the elementary and the advanced tests.
They also run gundog tests during the summer, and these are really interesting.

I attended "The Gundog Club" training classes in Farnham at the beginning of this year (grade one)

Tigs passed the grade 1 test with distinction with 100% score and we also did the grade two at the same time and she passed with distinction and 97% score.

Just getting her ready for the grade three (it involves gunshot) but the rest she should be ok with.

Great fun.
