Elderly working cocker lost nr Romsey, Hampshire
« on: September 03, 2010, 06:12:17 PM »

Cross posted from another forum.....

"Please can everyone keep an eye out for a lost dog from the Hampshire area. She is an elderly (16 year old), neutered female Working Cocker Spaniel called Beth who went missing from my parents back garden near Romsey, Hants on 29th August 2010. She is white with ginger ears, no collar/microchip and has numerous “warts” on her with the biggest on the back of her neck with the surrounding hair clipped. She is a bit deaf and  a bit senile and suffers from sick sinus syndrome so if over excited tends to keel over in a faint! We have contacted the usual channels ie dog warden, vets etc but so far no joy. If you have any info please call me, Ruth Tullie, at the Southampton surgery on 02380 704445 "

She doesn't seem to have been registered on Dogslost, but I have mentioned that on the forum I am cross-posting from....

I'm about 5 miles from Romsey but I haven't seen any posters or anything yet. I'll see if I can find out a bit more tomorrow. I hope she's found soon as it sounds like she's too old and frail to survive long on her own.

She's still missing  :'(

I've printed some posters off DogLost and will post them locally. I'm about 5 miles west of Romsey and haven't seen any posters for poor Beth.

Not good news for Beth, I'm afraid.  :'(

She was, unfortunately, found dead in a field near her home.

Run Free at the Bridge, Beth - no more pain and no more suffering.   :luv:
