I have only just seen this thread - I'm so, so sorry for everything you and Shadow have gone through these last two months. You did absolutely everything you could for him, and he sounds like such a beautiful, joyful little cocker - I'm sure he was happy just being with you till the end.
I can only imagine how you and your family must be feeling now. I really hope that you can smile soon, and think of him and the love and happiness that he felt even when things were tough. What an amazing little fellow, and so lucky to have you for his whole life, I'm sure that would be all he would have asked for xxx
