Buster is now at the vets having his ultrasound plus other investigations. He was no better this morning, he just wants to sleep. He went for a wee at 3 this morning then didnt go for another until we were at the vets. The vet said she may have to ring Cambridge university where he was in February & go on a highr dose of drug for AIHA even though his pcv is ok it could be affecting his pancreas. He looks so sad, it breaks your heart. Will let you know anything when the vet rings but thanks for everyones support.

Trying to cope with AIHA and the associated complications and infections is a nightmare I know. All you can do is fight one battle at a time. Remember that if he cannot ever come off medication altogether, it's not the end of the world. Chloe managed another 7 years on permanent medication. AIHA is so familiar to me and if I can help at all, let me know. Hoping Buster feels brighter soon xx

Busters home and had scrambled egg for his tea which he ate from his bowl. Before he was admitted we had to feed him by hand. He has barked when trick or treaters have come round but he forgets himself & he hasn't really got the energy to go to the door. Its all a vast improvement since yesterday so onwards and upwards. Thanks for all your good wishes and support.
