It is always upsetting to read about cockers who become ill and I sympathise with owners who feel sad and sometimes frustrated about health issues. I would advise owners of poorly cockers to report health conditions to the breed health co-ordinator so that we can gather information which may, in the longer term, support other owners and even those researching health problems in the breed.
