Annette, it is impossible to see a tick on a hairy cocker but if you force yourself to give Buddy a cuddle and stroke him all over you will feel them  ;)  You can also find them because they make a loud ticking sound - how do you think they got their name?   :005: :005:

I bought the tick remover from our vet last week and had to use it on Molly, she had one on the top of her front leg, if you twist it round enough you don't have to pull it just comes away complete with it's head and legs Yuk!! ... brilliant little tool, tick removal was OH's job, but I can manage it now I then put it in some bleach for a while, so I could be certain it was dead ...horrid things >:D
